Welcome to Tasting Notes

See us in action…

Presenting a guided wine tasting delivered like a late-night talk show, with its host and chiming-in house band.

Learn how to spot the way a wine’s been made, why the bottle appears on our shelves, and hear the stories that define the world’s wine regions from sommelier and saxophonist Charlie. He takes no responsibility for turning you into a snob.

Between each serving the band lays down a mix of jazz, funk, blues, and latin bossa - that is if they haven’t asked for a genre suggestion.

Presenter stands before audience in an intimate, dimly lit room discussing wine facts projected onto screen behind him.

Peppered throughout the show are some satirical diversions inviting you to poke fun at wine reviews, or be quizzed on celebrity wine brands…

Have your niggling wine queries put to rest. No matter how much you might know about wine, there’s something for you at a Tasting Notes show…

“The band are fantastic, and Charlie does an incredible job of engaging the audience with more than a touch of humour. Some education without even a hint of pretence. Thank you!”

“One of the best wine nights I've been to! The atmosphere was great and very approachable.
Can’t beat it!”

We cannot thank Tasting Notes enough for coming and performing for us. I loved every moment and the feedback we’ve had from many of the 300 strong audience is that they did too.
